Stunning photographs of Hong Kong in the 1950s surfaced recently, captured by, then teenager, Ho Fan who arrived from Shanghai in 1949. His subject – The streets, were filled with vendors, coolies and rickshaw drivers, fascinated Ho. His candid approach and Rolleiflex camera offers a refreshing glimpse into daily life in Hong Kong at that time with a cinematic quality.
